I do think Kelly makes an excellent point about overload, however, and like the suggestion of selective posting. I think we're all a little overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information coming at us these days, and I, for one, would <strong> not <strong> appreciate having all my Linked In contacts' Twitter posts coming at me as well. Diane, for example I know you often only post professional oriented updates to Twitter and it doesn’t bother me that those stream to your LinkedIn (truthfully I catch them more on LinkedIn than Twitter because I follow so many people). The only thing I disagree with is that I actually think streaming Twitter into LinkedIn is a good thing. The reason why I think it's a good thing on LinkedIn though is exactly the reason that Samantha mentions that many of my professional contacts are not on Twitter.
